Astro Live Experiences will launch into orbit the second satellite of artificial meteorite shower

The management of the Japanese company Astro Live Experiences in a press release announced the release into orbit on November 25 of the satellite ALE-2, part of the artificial meteorite shower system. The launch will be accomplished using the Rocket Lab - a start-up rocket.

As it became known to the Join Japan, the size of the satellite is only 0.6-0.6-0.8 m. It will be filled with balls of plastic with a diameter of 10 millimeters. In 2020, at the signal of the developers, the satellite will release balls into outer space.

This will happen at an altitude of 60-80 km from the surface of the Earth. The process of burning plastic balls earthlings will be able to observe for 10 seconds. Do you want to see how it will look? Look at the shooting of ordinary meteorite showers. The Join Japan team guarantees: artificial rain will be almost indistinguishable from the real one.

Colorful and spectacular cosmic combustion of plastic balls will be organized in honor of the opening of the Summer Olympics, which will be held in Tokyo. The creators of the project can arrange "space" shows regularly. Of course, ordinary inhabitants will not be able to order such a service: meteorite shower can be ordered only on special occasions for an impressive amount.
